Vintage Empire Style LAMP French Tole Candlesticks Black Shade Gold Drum & Horns

Offered from a local NJ estate is a small double candlestick lamp in black metal. With a nice black tole metal shade (lined in white for good light). The shade is decorated front and back with medallions of fringed drums in front of crossed batons. With drapes, horns, and branches, tres French. I believe the shade is signed France on the side, but it is really not completely legible, so not saying definitely. Single rod up the center holds the shade and the wreath finial which has a BENT SHAFT, see photos. Works well and wiring seems ok but always recommend rewire for safe home use!! Base is 8" by 4 1/2".

Shade is 10 1/2" by 5 1/4" and 4 tall. 18 1/2 to top of finial.
